What we collect

When you ask for a quote we collect your name, email, phone number and your trip details. If you message us on WhatsApp, email or call us, we receive your contact details and what you send.

Why

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you book, arrange your journey. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.

Who processes it for us

Our website and booking system host, our email providers and our booking team, which may include staff working outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t become bookings are deleted within 24 months. Booking records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Cookies and advert references

This website loads no third-party scripts and sets no cookies when you arrive. If you reached us from an advert, the link may carry an advert reference (such as Google’s gclid or Meta’s fbclid) or campaign tags. We pass those to our quote form only when you open it, so we can see which adverts lead to bookings.

In that case we also ask whether this browser may keep the reference for 90 days. Allow and Reject are equally easy, and nothing is stored until you choose. Your choice is saved in one first-party cookie, rc_consent, for 180 days, together with whether Google Ads or Meta may be told when an enquiry from their advert becomes a booking, and whether they may use that to choose which adverts to show you. You can change your mind with “Cookie choices” at the foot of every page; rejecting deletes the stored reference.

If you came from an advert and tap a WhatsApp button, we ask our booking system for a short reference code (for example W-1234) and add it to your first message, so we can link the conversation to that advert. If the code doesn’t arrive within a second, WhatsApp opens without it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. If you’re unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
