Longer trips across the UK and Europe
We cover Scotland and the whole UK, and run long-distance trips including London, Ireland and Paris. By road, Newcastle is about 152 miles from Glasgow (about 3 hours by car) and Manchester about 216 miles (about 4 hours). Under the GOV.UK drivers’ hours rules, a coach driver may drive up to 9 hours a day (10 hours twice a week) and must take a 45-minute break after 4.5 hours, so a return to Manchester in a day may need a second driver or an overnight stop, and the quote shows that cost. Ferry crossings, for example to Ireland or France, are charged at cost and shown on the quote. On multi-day trips the driver’s accommodation and meals are charged separately. We also carry visiting international tour groups: see private tours from Glasgow.
